What is 'A Black Girls Guide' Series?

When I first started writing A Black Girl's Guide to AI, I wanted to create something that was approachable, insightful, and most importantly, tailored to the underrepresented voices in tech—especially Black women. It’s no secret that the tech world can often feel overwhelming and exclusive, but that doesn’t mean we don’t belong. My goal was to break down complex topics in artificial intelligence and show that with the right guidance, anyone can thrive in this space. The response was beyond what I expected, and it got me thinking: why stop at AI?

That’s how A Black Girl's Guide series was born.
